This visual art book features image boards, sketches, background paintings, and much more from the film When Marnie Was There.

It showcases numerous materials from the early stages of production by Hiromasa Yonebayashi and Yohei Taneda, character designs by Masashi Ando, as well as art boards and painted backgrounds created by the art team, including Aiko Funaki.

The book also includes interviews with key members of the production team, background paintings and stills used in the film, as well as the dubbing script.
